Morgan appeared alongside other actors in the documentary film Safe Sex for Men and Women, which focuses on AIDS prevention and awareness. Part of the proceeds were donated towards the American Foundation for AIDS Research. She is a member of the Entertainment Industry's AIDS Task Force. Morgan has been the driving force behind numerous fundraisers for the disease and she also testified in front of a specific Congressional panel on AIDS education. Morgan is a member of the Board of Governors of APLA as well as Amfar's Board of Directors. C. Everett Koop's previous deputy surgeon general requested occasionally to substitute for him at AIDS awareness activities. Additionally, she hosted a AIDS Awareness Special with Steve Bell. She's appeared on Nightline with Ted Koppell regarding AIDS. Morgan is nominated to be one of the Emmy winner for Diane English's Murphy Brown Special Episode written especially for Morgan. In spring, she co-starred alongside Joan Rivers in ABC television's Your Money or Your Wife. The summer started with Murder At The PTA Luncheon. The film was produced Von Zerneck/Sertner, and also included Cindy Williams & Marla Gibbs. Then she starred in the production of Harmony Gold, Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady, which starred Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee. Morgan has also been featured in a film, a psychological thriller that was produced by USA Network. The film was a huge success and received the greatest ratings of all time.
